BB

I have been using the blackberry for the last month. These are my thoughts on the phone.

1- Blackberry messenger is great, although its expensive t use and not cheap but it’s a great application that is stable and you can rely on it . you pay 29JD ++ for the BB service in Jordan.  that’s about the cost of 400SMS messages at least.if you can afford it i think you go and get it because its fun. I don’t know if it will sustain the fun element with time. will let you know if things change.

2- Email: Quick and to the point. i like it but i don’t see a big difference between it and emoze. a great free ap i used on my Nokia E71 and E72. setup was a little easier but other than that it has the same feel and functions of BB email. not really that impressed there. in certain area’s emoze was better.

3- Social networking and media :  the black berry is not a social media phone, although sites like linkedin , Facebook and twitter have delivered good platforms for the phone it still lacks the things currently available in the iPhones and androids.

4- one thing that really bothers me is the menu and how you configure your phone . the blackberry can get confusing at times , if you want to go and change something like fonts or themes its always confusing for me at least. not very user-friendly in its use when you compare it to the iPhone, Nokia, Sony Ericson ….etc

conclusion, its a great business phone and it has a very stable operating system… on the other hand its expensive and is not that user-friendly and minimum amount of Applications that are available.
